American Teachers
Scott Harpe received a B.B.A. with a major in accounting from Western Michigan University, USA, and was a CPA (certified public accountant) and auditor. Scott is a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher with a TEFL certificate from Bridge Linguatec, Denver, Colorado, USA and another TEFL/TESOL certificate from i-to-i Language Services, Leeds, UK. Scott has lived in Thailand and taught English at Santisuk English School in Bangkapi for more than 10 years. He also served at Santisuk as Director from 2016-2017 and was on the school board for three years. He is married to Michelle, and they have three adult children.
Michelle Harpe graduated from Western Michigan University (USA) with a B.B.A. in accounting. She was a CPA (certified public accountant) and auditor before becoming the sole educator of her children from 1994-2013. Teaching phonics, reading, grammar, and writing prepared her to begin teaching at Santisuk English School in 2014. She received a TESOL certificate from Cebu Graduate School of Theology, Philippines. Michelle is married to Scott.
Leah Fernandez
Leah Fernandez is from the US and is currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Design Technology. She has classroom teaching experience and extensive experience in a variety of volunteer positions. She has studied both Spanish and Russian languages as a beginner. Leah enjoys playing piano, working on art projects, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to be in Thailand to meet new friends and experience Thai culture and food.
Hannah Domsic
Hannah Domsic is from the US and is studying toward a degree in Art and Illustration. She volunteered as an English tutor for one year helping English-learners with conversation and has taken several advanced English courses. Hannah speaks Spanish and is currently studying Korean as a beginner. She enjoys photography as a hobby and is excited to spend time with her students seeing the sights of Thailand and eating Thai food.
Thai Teachers
Sangrawee Authailerd (Chompoo) is from Samutprakarn, Thailand. She is a former student of Santisuk English School and completed the certificate requirements. She graduated from the Faculty of Environment, Kasetsart University, with the second class honors. She worked as an energy and environmental consultant in a sustainable project of the Ministry of Energy. Chompoo has been tutoring since 2011 and teaching English at Santisuk English School since 2017.
